The IACT is delighted to partner with KPMG / Ireland Chapter of PMI (Project Management Institution) to deliver the first Young Treasurers event of 2026 – A Young Treasurer's Guide to Project Management.
Sound project management provides a structured approach to turning complex treasury initiatives into clear, achievable outcomes—helping professionals plan effectively, manage risk, and deliver change with confidence.
No Corporate Treasury Team is immune to change management, be that system implementation, process modernisation, transaction preparation or many other requirements. Often it can be daunting not knowing where to begin and a challenge to balance the day job with the demands of the project.
This session offers a practical introduction to project management, guided by PMI principles and real world examples. We will learn how to define a project, set clear objectives, and build a structured project plan, aimed at developing skills in scheduling, risk awareness, and team coordination. This aims to help young treasurers to build confidence to participate in (or even drive!) Treasury projects with professional discipline.
We kindly ask that all attendees arrive on time to avoid any disruptions to the speaker and fellow participants.
Registration is essential as capacity is limited. This event is open to IACT members and non-members who work in Corporate Treasury.
Parking on site limited, other options IFSC and NCI car parks nearby.
