The format is a shotgun start, i.e. all players will tee off (from different holes 1 to 18) at the same time. After the Golf there will be an informal indoor/outdoor BBQ (weather dependent) and prize giving in the Clubhouse.
If you do not have a full team for the 4-person team event, we will take individual bookings to make up a team, so you can rest assured you will be allocated with like-minded players for a relaxed round of golf in beautiful surroundings.
Beginners' Event (3PM)
Have you always wanted to learn to play golf but have no understanding of the game?
Getting started in golf can feel like an overwhelming task. So we have put together an afternoon that will teach you the very basics.
With no requirement to already be a member of a golf club or have a golf handicap, it is aimed at the complete beginner or those just wanting to give golf a shot (excuse the pun!).
Demystify the game by learning the basics of swing, club selection and how to keep the ball on the fairway, watched over by the expert eyes of a club professional in an informal and relaxed environment. With golf clubs and balls provided, you just turn up with golf (or tennis) shoes and suitable attire for the course.
Following an afternoon on the range and the golf competitions, everyone from the beginners and our main event (4-person Team Event) will join up for the BBQ and prize-giving in the clubhouse.
It promises to be a great day in a relaxed and sociable setting with work colleagues and friends.
