IACT Golf Day 2024 - Beginners' Event

The IACT Golf Day returns to the picturesque Grange Golf Club in Rathfarnham Dublin 16. It promises to be a great day in a relaxed and sociable setting with work colleagues and friends.

Have you always wanted to learn to play golf but have no understanding of the game?

Getting started in golf can feel like an overwhelming task. So we have put together an afternoon that will teach you the very basics.

With no requirement to already be a member of a golf club or have a golf handicap, it is aimed at the complete beginner or those just wanting to give golf a shot (excuse the pun!).

Demystify the game by learning the basics of swing, club selection and how to keep the ball on the fairway, watched over by the expert eyes of a club professional in an informal and relaxed environment. With golf clubs and balls provided, you just turn up with golf (or tennis) shoes and suitable attire for the course.

Following an afternoon on the range and the golf competitions, everyone from the beginners and our main event (4-person Team Event) will join up for the BBQ and prize-giving in the clubhouse.
