Mentoring is a confidential relationship, where the Mentee can access a Mentor's wisdom and guidance to navigate obstacles in achieving career objectives.

In October 2018, the IACT committee launched its first ever Mentoring programme. The pilot programme consisted of 6 mentoring relationships and was an outstanding success leading to a new programme running each year.

The following are some of the positive comments received from our past Mentees & Mentors:

  • “I got a lot out of it and I think that it adds to the IACT. I would recommend to my colleagues”
  • “I am very grateful to have been involved with this programme”·
  •  “I greatly appreciated the time, thought and effort that my mentor put into the programme”
  •  “Would I recommend? YES!”
  • “Playing the role of mentor has been both a challenging and rewarding experience, and one I really value.  It allows you to develop your own leadership skills, can give you a different perspective on things, and also promotes self-reflection. I have thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to participate in the IACT programme.”

We are now taking applications for Mentees to join the 2024 programme. The programme will provide Mentees with a unique opportunity to connect and learn from the experience of some of Ireland’s most senior treasury professionals.

What’s involved

We ask that Mentors and Mentees:

  •       Commit to working together for a minimum of one hour per quarter for a period of 12 months
