Sign up now for the IACT Golf Day which returns to the picturesque Grange Golf Club in Rathfarnham Dublin 16. It promises to be a great day in a relaxed and sociable setting with work colleagues and friends.
4 Person Team Event with shotgun start
The format is a 4 Person Team Event with Shotgun start, i.e. all players will tee off (from different holes 1 to 18) at the same time of 2.15pm. After the Golf there will be an informal indoor/outdoor BBQ and prize giving in the Clubhouse. As all players will finish at around the same time, food and fun together in the clubhouse after the golf is guaranteed!
There will be Team Prizes for First, Second and Third places, also Nearest the Pin and Longest Drive as well as individual prizes including the coveted Champion Golfer Trophy.
If you do not have a full team for the 4-person team event, we will take individual bookings to make up a team, so you can rest assured you will be allocated with like-minded players for a relaxed round of golf in beautiful surroundings.
Novices Event
We will also have our usual Novices event so if you want to swing a golf club like Rory McIlroy, or to play on the home course of Ireland Ryder Cup star Paul McGinley, now is your chance in the IACT’s Beginners’ Golf Day!
With no requirement to already be a member of a golf club or have a golf handicap, it is aimed at the novice or complete beginner or those just wanting to give golf a shot (excuse the pun!).
Demystify the game by learning the basics of swing, club selection and how to keep the ball on the fairway, watched over by the expert eyes of a club professional in an informal and relaxed environment. With golf clubs and balls provided, you just turn up with shoes and suitable attire for the course.
Following an afternoon on the range and the golf competitions, everyone from the beginners and our main event (4-person Team Event) will join up for the BBQ and prize-giving in the clubhouse.
The charge per person is €50 per person or €200 per team of 4, which is excellent value and is kindly subsidised by IACT. It’s also €50 per head for the Novices event.
