Hosted by J.P. Morgan, this event aims to provide young treasury professionals (0-5 years’ experience) with a unique opportunity to engage with and learn from industry peers on a similar career path. These events also welcome the company of seasoned treasury professionals looking to pick up a thing or two or expand their network. Please note this event is open to members and non-members.

Join us for networking, food and refreshments. Listen to J.P. Morgan provide an overview of the ESG outlook and key themes for corporate treasury. Review how a treasury can incorporate its ESG strategy into its treasury management and align to its corporate values.

Concluding the event with an industry led panel discussing how treasuries are operating their ESG strategies and areas of focus.

Maximilian Mayer has more than 13 years’ experience in investment banking, of which he spent more than 8 years focusing on ESG & Sustainability. He specialises in helping J.P. Morgan’s global clients positioning their businesses and aligning their strategies most favourably for ESG-focused investors and other stakeholders. His product skill set includes ESG-related debt and equity capital markets products, ESG rating advisory and M&A. Additionally, in EMEA Max helps run J.P. Morgan’s green investment banking business and coverage of clients in emerging green sectors.


Paul O'Connor is an ESG Debt Capital Markets specialist with over 25 years of experience. Paul leads J.P. Morgan’s ESG Debt Capital Markets offering in the EMEA region, developing Green and other ESG Bond propositions for issuer clients, and advising on execution in line with established market practices. Paul has personally led or advised on over 60 ESG debt issuances over the last 5 years. Prior to joining the JPM ESG Debt Capital Markets team, Paul spent 6 years in JPM’s Global Environmental and Social Risk Management team, where he advised on ESG risk management in capital markets transactions, including in the O&G, chemicals, power utilities and soft commodities sectors.

Janice Daly CFA is a Partner at Grant Thornton and leads out the Irish Firm’s sustainability practice. She is a Sustainable Finance and Climate Risk professional with over 15 years of global financial markets experience. Prior to joining the firm, she held senior, strategic roles in Treasury, Strategic Finance, Sustainable Finance and Climate Risk. Janice is a CFA Charterholder and holds First Class Masters Degrees from UCD, in Financial Services and Sustainability.

Maddison Hampson is a Treasury Manager at AIB and oversees the Group’s award-winning Green Bond Programme. Maddison joined AIB in 2016 and, prior to her work in term funding, was a senior interest rate derivatives trader, where she provided IR hedging solutions for the Group’s internal and external customers. Maddison is leading out across AIB Finance and Treasury, sharing her experience and insights, while promoting sustainable learning and practices. Maddison holds a B.A. degree in Mathematics and Politics from UCD, a Primary Market Certificate and Fixed Income Certificate from ICMA, and the Institute of Banker’s Professional Certificate in Responsible and Sustainable Finance.

Claire Gunning - Claire is a Senior Treasury Manager at PTSB focusing on the Bank’s Debt Capital Markets and M&A agenda.  Prior to joining PTSB in 2022, she worked as an Associate Director in KPMG’s Risk Consulting practice, and as a Senior Treasury Manager in Bank of Ireland.  Aligning PTSB’s Sustainability and Funding strategies, Claire led out on the Bank’s first Green Bond issuance in April 2024. Claire holds a BA in International Business and Languages from DCU and a Postgraduate Diploma from UCC.
