Treasury Accountant (16-month contract)

Our client, a global corporate headquartered in Ireland, is seeking a Treasury Accountant (16-month contract) to join their Group Finance team. This role sits within the Treasury Accounting team and offers wide exposure to central treasury operations and group reporting in a complex, international environment. The company operate a hybrid working policy with 3 days in the office.

The Job:

• Manage month‑end close for treasury entities, produce control reports and resolve variances
• Prepare and review statutory financial statements for treasury entities
• Coordinate annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
• Review group forecasting for treasury sections.
• Analyse and report monthly net debt, interest and currency results
• Prepare and review treasury notes for external reporting under US GAAP
• Contribute to board reporting 
• Partner with Group Tax and external auditors on statutory and group reporting matters.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification is essential)
• Degree in finance, accounting, economics or similar discipline
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP 
• Proven experience in treasury operations or treasury accounting within a corporate treasury or audit environment
• Exposure to FX forwards, interest rate swaps and cross‑currency swaps (valuation and accounting)
• Hands‑on experience with ERP/reporting systems such as SAP 
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to handle large datasets
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills

Remuneration: Excellent salary, completion bonus, pension, 26 days AL, parking and subsidised canteen.
