We marked a fantastic start to our Young Treasurers events for 2026 with our first session, A Young Treasurer’s Guide to Project Management, delivered in partnership with KPMG and the Ireland Chapter of PMI (Project Management Institute).
We were delighted to host a fully attended event, reflecting the strong interest from young treasury professionals in developing practical project management skills to support change initiatives within treasury functions.

It was also great to have several IACT Committee members join us for the session, Aimee Cullen demonstrating their continued support for the development of the next generation of treasury professionals.
The session explored how structured project management can help treasury professionals navigate change with greater confidence – from system implementations and process modernisation to transaction preparation and broader transformation projects.
Attendees gained valuable insights into defining projects, setting clear objectives, building structured project plans, managing risk, and strengthening team coordination using PMI principles and real-world examples.
A big thank you to our partners, speakers, Committee members, and everyone who attended for making this such an engaging and successful event. We look forward to welcoming you to our next Young Treasurers event which will be posted on our website soon.
