Our Summer Networking Evening took place in Medley (formerly the Irish Times Building) on Fleet Street. The event kicked off with drinks and light bites followed by a Kilkenomics-style panel discussion on general current affairs/economics events.
Hosted by broadcaster and comedian Colm O'Regan, the guest panel included Sarah Carey, Sunday Times columnist, Sinead O'Carroll, editor of The Journal.ie, and Aidan Regan, Associate Professor of Political Economy at UCD and Business Post columnist).
A light hearted but topical discussion took place, with the panel commenting on relevant topics including the cost of living, inflation and interest rates, tax cuts v spending on services, centralised versus decentralised government and the next election.
